Anokhi Mehta
Tutor
Anokhi Mehta is currently a senior at Leland High School. Her favorite subjects are math and computer science. Anokhi has loved both these topics since elementary school and hopes to pursue a career in the computer science industry. She enjoys working with kids and can relate to those feelings of satisfaction after finally understanding a topic or getting a problem right. Outside of school, Anokhi plays for the Leland Girls Varsity Tennis team during the fall and is Co-President of Code One Programming, a non-profit organization aimed at providing a free quality education in computer science. She is fluent in English and Spanish. In her free time, Anokhi loves to bullet journal, get boba or coffee with friends, and spend time with her family.

Tiffany Jia is a senior at Leland High School. She is good with kids and people and enjoys helping others learn. She has attended Chinese school since preschool and is fluent in English. She has played the harp for five years and often competes. She is also in the Silicon Valley Harp Ensemble and has performed with them in Hong Kong and L.A.. She has also played piano in the past for about two years. In addition, Tiffany has also practiced art and clothing design and is knowledgable about sewing. As a junior, she is also familiar with both the SAT and ACT. Tiffany reads, plays chess, and cooks recreationally; as well as enjoys reading and occasional baking.

Meghna ChandrasekarTutor
Meghna is a senior at Leland High School and interested the most in Biology and English. She is taking her third year of Spanish this year, and is a staff writer for Journalism. In her free time, she enjoys playing piano, drawing, and reading. She also participates in cross country and track, and enjoys volunteering for Key Club and CSF (California Scholarship Federation).

Tutor
Chi Hoang is a junior at Leland High School, who is enthusiastic about helping younger kids to understand and improve in academics. She loves to play the violin and draw. She speaks English fluently and Vietnamese well, and has previous tutoring experience at the Almaden Library. Chi is involved in numerous activities inside and outside of school, she has been playing violin for 11 years, tests for CM for violin each year (level 9 currently), has done track and field for the past two years, is in school clubs, and volunteers at the hospital frequently. Chi is currently taking AP classes and has taken multiple accelerated and honors classes in previous years.

Amanda ChenCo-founder, Co-president (2015-2017)Amanda Chen graduated from Leland High School in 2017 and is a member of Dartmouth College's class of 2021. As Pay it Forward Tutoring's co-founder and first co-president, she oversaw all activities and worked closely with both the team and Reading Partners, Pay it Forward Tutoring's first recipient charity. She is proud to have been a part of Pay it Forward Tutoring, where the collective efforts of a few continue to make a significant contribution to the education of many Silicon Valley children.

Sarah KirbyCo-founder, Co-president (2015-2017)
Sarah Kirby, who graduated with Leland High School's class of 2017 and is currently a member or USC's class of 2021, served as co-founder and co-president of Pay it Forward Tutoring from 2015 to 2017. She is most proud to have been a part of a social enterprise with a dual function: tutoring local children while helping to enhance the educational opportunities of students in underserved communities.

Raymond YangCo-Founder, Chief Technical Officer (2015-2017), Treasurer (2015-2017)Raymond Yang, who graduated from Leland High School in 2017, is a member of University of Waterloo's class of 2022 in Canada. As chief technical officer and treasurer, Raymond established the framework for the Pay it Forward Tutoring website and helped keep financial records of the organization. Raymond is happy to have made a difference in the community through Pay It Forward Tutoring.
